A day at Block Island

Let's spend a Saturday taking the ferry from New London, to Block Island.
The ferry system we will use is called BIT, and you can find all info plus where to do the reservations, online. Or calling 860-444-4624. Website: GoBI.com.

Ferry leaves NL at 11:50a and arrives at BI an hour and a half later. We can stay the day there, having a light lunch upon arrival, and then dinner, before returning on 8:10p ferry. And lots of sightseeing, shopping, etc. in between!

Parking at the lot in NL is $15, and/or at Water St. Parking Garage.
Directions to NL is as follows: take 95S exit 84 S. to N. London waterfront. At 2nd light, go left onto Gov. Winthrop Blvd. Go straight over RR tracks, to bear right to ferry entrance.
