Dougie Field and Eric Lindsey, supported by Farhad, are on at our favourite cafe/micro pub this afternoon.
Doug and Eric are fine guitarists and singers. Although I haven’t seen Farhad, I expect him to be of similar calibre.
The venue is worth going to in itself. It used to be a hairdresser (very good since you ask….he relocated to Brighton) but magically turned into a micro pub a few years ago, winning a CAMRA award for its choice of beers. There are also the usual selection of alcoholic and soft drinks and, until 5.00pm, a good choice of coffees from what I have to describe as a noisy but impressive machine!
No food is sold but please feel free to bring your own sandwiches.
It’s a free venue but there is a hat collection for the acts which a suggested contribution of a fiver per head,.
Free parking in the side streets after 2.0pm.
