Evening Estuary Walk

Join us on a walk out across the estuary to see Southend pierhead from underneath it. Approx three miles. We will start walking at 6pm and plan to finish by 8pm. Be prepared to get wet up to your knees. Shorts and old trainers or walking boots that you don’t mind getting wet are ideal. Wellies are not a great idea and will probably end up full of water. Sandals not a great idea as we will be walking across some rough ground with sharpe oyster shells.
We start outside Billy Hundreds tapas bar on the seafront opposite Southchurch park. There is some free parking in the roads around Southchurch park and carparks in both Southchurch park and Southchurch park east. Optional pub after.
