Crochet/ knitting in support of Poppies on the Pier. Or just come for Coffee.

As a poignant tribute for Remembrance Day, from 5 - 16 November 2025, Southend Pier hope to transform the Pier with a yarnbomb display of knitted and crocheted red poppies, the aim is to line the entire length of the a pier. Please bring a hook, black and red yarn. There will be people there who can guide/ help but unfortunately the event is not ideal for complete beginners.

Parking around the back, although it can get busy so walk/car share if you can. 12pm to 2pm although the coffee house stops serving around 1.30pm.
