Poppy Pier Walk

Join me for a walk along the pier to see the poppies. Cost £3.10 (over 60 £2.10). Train is £2 extra each way. Payable direct to the pier on the day. We will stop for a coffee break at the end.

This November, Southend Pier will be transformed into a moving sea of red as thousands of knitted and crocheted poppies are installed along its full 1.33-mile length. Poppies on the Pier is set to be the UK’s largest Remembrance art installation, created entirely from handmade poppies donated by people from across the world (including some of our members).
