Southend to Leigh Old Town circular walk with lunch ( Approx 7 miles )

Howdey Doodahs!! so who fancies coming along on this Friday ramble to Leigh old town for lunch where you have the option of walking both ways or either catching a train or bus back to Southend. We'll walk along the Royal Terrace to The Cliffs Pavillion then head down to the seafront until we take the path that runs parallel to the railway near Chalkwell Station into Old Leigh where we'll stop for lunch for an hour before returning to Southend.

We'll meet at the TOP of Pier Hill in Southend next to the observation tower overlooking the seafront/ pier at 1030am for a 1040am start time.
Please were appropriate footwear for walking on tarmac/concrete which most of the route is based. Can you please also make sure you bring fluids to keep you hydrated plus energy nibbles.

Cliffs Pavilion
Seafront Toilets next to the Arches Cafes
Chalkwell Beach
Pubs/Cafes in Leigh Old Town
