Paul's Hadleee Castle and coffee ramble approx 6 miles

Howdey scramblers, who's up for another ramble from Leigh-on-Sea Station via Hadleigh Castle for a coffee ☕ and nibble at The Hub Cafe in Hadleigh Park and return. The trail is well used as it is a popular walking route to and from the castle. Bringing a walking pole(s) is highly recommended for this walk especially on the part of the path leading from the station to the first stile as this can get very muddy but hopefully not this time of year. The return is back the way we came.

We'll meet outside Leigh Station at 1030am for a 1040an start. You can either catch a train to the meeting point or park your cars in the station car park or in the streets above. As this is a well worn dirt trail please wear proper walking preferably waterproof footwear . You can also bring your doggies, but beware as this salvation army land and their cattle frequent the area so there is no way telling where they might be on the day. The Ridgeway is now fenced off so there shouldn't be an animal issues. Please also bring fluids to keep you hydrated and energy nibbles.

lastly as we are a social walking group please stay relatively together taking into account that we all have our own pace. What I don't want is people marching well ahead on the ingress and the egress like the last time I did this event. Remember it's safety in numbers. Thank you.
