Beach Day in Sant Pol de Mar from Barcelona (beach day + picnic)

Last minute FREE EXCURSION to Sant Pol de Mar!!
Thanks to your requests I am getting closer to what you want from me and so that you can see that I am listening to you, I propose a day in the sun in the Maresme, a 1-hour train ride from Barcelona.

We will meet under the Arc de Triomf at 9:45am on Saturday July 31, to go by train to Sant Pol de Mar, a small town with a very Mediterranean vibe that surely will not leave you indifferent. This time I choose Cala de la Roca Grossa, about 20 minutes walk by the sea, from the Sant Pol de Mar train station.

Bring all the artifacts and beach games or toys you want (except volleyball nets or beach tennis, because the beach is narrow and they are not allowed). The idea is to spend a day in the sun in good company and enjoying the best beaches near Barcelona.

Don't forget the beach toys and inflatable: snorkel gear, inflatable balls, mats, donuts, beach ball rackets, UNO game ... There will be time for everything!

You can bring something to eat or if you prefer something to share for a picnic style lunch (chips, olives, guacamole, hummus or crudités ... whatever you fancy!). The beach has no services so provide everything you need before leaving home.

Oh, and don't forget the sun umbrella either, if you have one, I'm sure after some hours of sun we'll need them!!

If you feel like it at the end of the day, I will take you for a little walk around the town and to one of my favorite parks in Sant Pol and we have a good fresh vermouth before returning to Barcelona. Deal?

This Meetup It's FOR FREE, but you'll have to pay the train ticket to Sant Pol de Mar and back (11€ round trip).

• Swimsuit and beach towel
• High SPF and sufficient sun protection
• Flip flops and spare clothes.
• Umbrella, if possible
• Beach toys if you have.
