Patricia Ann Byrom Hike 4.7 to 5 miles on May 8th, Thursday at 9:30am

This hike is requested by many of you.
The Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve is a 600-acre Albemarle County. Park provides beautiful views with wildlife spotted frequently.

We’ll start our hike at Great Mountain Trail to Crooked Tree Trail and continue on Little Flat Mountain Loop 4.7 to 5miles with a 1,300 ft. elevation gain. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/virginia/little-flat-mountain-loop
There will be two small water streams to cross.
I have hiked this trail and I was happy to have my poles.

Yes, this hike is Steep and strenuous: This is a 4.7 to 5 miles hike: Approximate time : 3 Hrs.

What to Bring/Wear: water/snacks, layered clothing, good hiking shoes and hiking poles are highly recommend .

Weather: If plans change due to weather I'll update in the comments section.
Dog Policy: You are welcome to bring well behaved pups join - must be on a leash and please pick up after your pet.
Plenty of parking and clean restrooms.
