After work hike along Rivanna River

I plan to hike along the Rivanna River out-back. There are some historic ruins to see from the Rivanna River canal system, mills, etc. There will still be some wildflowers to see, and usually a good selection of birds hang out along the river.

Difficulty: Easy
This hike is about 3 miles, with minimal elevation gain. Trail has good footing for the most part.

Please bring:
Appropriate footwear, water.

Please be on time. Pantops traffic can get busy at rush hour, so leave some extra time to get there.
