Biscuit Run-Dog-Friendly Hike-About 3 or so miles Optional Post Hike: Eastwood

Details
Biscuit Run Park is the largest Albermarle County park and also the newest. It is located at 2020 Scottsville Road where there is a large parking lot and public bathrooms. This hike will be about 3 or so miles - primarily on Foothills Loop, one of the easier trails.
Optional: Eastwood Farm and Winery is at just down the road at 2531 Scottsville Road. It opens at 12 noon and serve lunch for those interested in eating or having a cool beverage.
Time: Tuesday May 27 at 10:15 a.m.
Weather: Good forecast! Clear and low 60s. A steady rain cancels this activity. If there is a cancellation, attendees will be notified one hour prior to hike time.
Parking/Meeting: We will meet in the lot at 2020 Scottsville Road,
off of Route 20, Scottsville Road, just south of Avon Street. The lot is on the right. It is about 3 miles south of Interstate 64. (As a point of reference: It's 1.2 miles north of Eastwood Farm and Winery).
Hike Leader: Nancy-703-627-9237 generally wears baseball style hat and is accompanied by Milo, her hike-loving black/brown brindle coat dog.
Hike Preparation: Bring water! Hiking poles may be useful. Well-behaved dogs are welcome! They should be on a short (max 6', non-retractable) leash, well-behaved, and capable of keeping up with the hikers. Bring water and bag(s) so you can hydrate and pick up after your dog.
Specifics: Sign up. Once signed up, if you decide not to attend, please update RSVP to No/Not Going, as soon as possible-at least 24 hours in advance, so others on the waitlist can join in. Same-day cancellations do not allow those on the waitlist to prepare for the hike. Waitlist: If you are on the wait list and decide you do not wish to hike if a spot becomes available, respectfully update to Not Going 24 hours in advance of the hike so that others can have your waitlist spot.
