Ragged Mountain Natural Area (6ish moderate miles)

Details
Join me on my favorite local hike at the Ragged Mountain Natural Area. The Lake Front Loop Trail is mainly through the woods with some nice water views. There are some cool wood carvings along the trail as pictured above. Local artist Brad Brown is responsible for this amazing chainsaw art.
The hike is 6ish miles with an elevation gain of 800 feet. We will meet at the TOP LEVEL at 8:00 and leave promptly after introductions.
Notes:
- Dogs are not allowed at Ragged Mountain Natural Area as it is a source of area drinking water.
- The sun and ticks are out. Please lather and spray.
- I am bossy about water.
- I don't hike in the rain and will cancel the day before if the weather is nasty.
The reservoir is located by following Fontaine Extended, under the US 29 bypass and then onto Reservoir Road. Take the slow winding road to the UPPER PARKING LOT. Google Maps doesn't show the road going above the dam where we will meet. If you can't look down and see the walking trail about the water, you're in the wrong location. (The last time I posted this a hiker had a hard time finding it with GPS. Camp Holiday Trails is on the left right before the road that goes up to the parking lot.)
Supplies: Please bring water and wear appropriate footwear; I recommend boots or hiking shoes.
RSVP: If you're not going to be able to attend the hike, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" as soon as possible.
