5 moderate miles with elevation at Mint Springs

Mint Springs Valley Park is a lovely park tucked away in Crozet, Virginia. My trailblazer friend Ginny and her acrobatic dog Tilly, will lead us on this hike with some good elevation. Park at the Upper Parking Lot, not at the first lot, which is for fishing. We'll gather there for quick introductions and hit the trials at 7:45. A few notes:

• It is hot so we are starting at 7:45 AM.
• I limit my hikes in the woods to 14 people with no guests.
• Feel free to bring your pup.
• The ticks are out. You know what to do about that.
• Please bring and drink your water.
• There are bathrooms near the parking lot.
• I don't have a cell signal at Mint Springs and won't get last minute messages.
