Patricia Ann Byrom Hike on July 29, 2025 (Tuesday) Strenuous

The Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve is a 600-acre Albemarle County. Park provides beautiful views with wildlife spotted frequently.

We’ll hike the 4.5-mile Crooked Tree Trail and come down to Little Flat Mountain trail with a 1000 ft. elevation gain. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/virginia/little-flat-mountain-loop I have hiked this trail and I was happy to have my poles since trail. We will be walking in shady area.

Steep and strenuous: This is a ~4.5miles hike:

What to Bring/Wear: water/snacks, good hiking shoes and hiking poles.

Dog Policy: You are welcome to bring well behaved pups join - must be on a leash and please pick up after your pet.
