Charlotte Humphries Park Easy Afternoon Hike

Details

I usually do easy/moderate, 2-3 mile hikes in and around Charlottesville. This time, it's different: I am out-doing myself and doing a super-easy hike ;8-)
This 25-acre park offers 1.5 miles of paved trails with a small shelter and seating. Formerly Whitewood Park, it was renamed in 2005 to honor Charlotte Yancey Humphries, a former Board of Supervisors member and Chairwoman, who was a widely respected advocate for rural preservation.
