The Grelen Trails were founded in 2015 to celebrate and preserve beautiful 1,000 acres in the Virginia Foothills. Grelen and James Madison's Montpelier collaborated with the Piedmont Environmental Council to create a connector trail to provide access to both properties. Walk up to a gorgeous vista overlooking Grelen Nursery or go for a long hike through the nursery, meadows, and old-growth forest, including Montpelier's system, open to the public during business hours 10am to 4pm.
