SAUNDERS-MONTICELLO TRAIL - 4.5 miles

Monticello's Visitor Center has a later opening so we'll have a 9:30 AM start on the Saunders Monticello Trail. I have an appointinmnent at noon so I am just offering the short hike this time. We'll do the traditional Saunders Monticello boardwalk trail up to the Visitor's Center then head back to the parking lot for a total of 4.5 miles. We'll meet at 9:30 AM at the far end of the Dairy Barn parking lot, near the Saunders Monticello Trail entrance. The parking lot is off Route 20 between Route 53 and exits for 64; across from Piedmont Virginia Community College. Introductions take about 5 minutes. If you are late, walk up the trail to find us.

Notes:

• Please bring water as I am bossy about that.
• I don't hike in the rain and will be a baby and cancel if it is raining.
• Leashed dogs are allowed.
