A lot of us couldn't make Jere's last hike after he had to move it due to an absolute deluge, so we're hosting this one again. :D Jere's writeup is below:

For our adventure on this day, we will hike the inner circuit trail at Fortune's Cove Nature Conservancy in Nelson County. This trail meanders in and out of several coves and passes by a couple of streams and picturesque cascades too. The total elevation change for our hike will be approximately 800 feet. At the highest elevation point of our hike, there will also be a really nice viewpoint of the meadow below us and in the distance some of the taller peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This vantage point provides a nice opportunity for pictures and taking a snack break.

Please Note: Dogs are not allowed within the Fortune's Cove Nature Conservancy area.

At the conclusion of our hike, and for those who are interested, we will stop by Dr. Ho's Humble Pie - to spend some time socializing and hanging out. Lunch - specifically pizza - and drinks can be ordered.

WHAT TO BRING FOR THE HIKE:

> Please bring at least 1-liter of water
> Wear hiking boots/shoes
> Trekking poles are suggested for this hike
> Bring snacks

Hope you can make it out for what promises to be a beautiful, blue sky sunny day within a really nice nature conservancy in Nelson County.
