Winter Conditions - This is going to be a winter hike. Monitor the weather and properly dress for the weather conditions. You must have layers of clothing, beanies, gloves, and proper gear for these weather conditions.

Hike Details - This is a lariat (or lollipop) hike from the Sugar Hollow Parking Area in White Hall. The first 3.7 miles is steady gain of elevation up the South Fork Moorman's Trail. We'll then take the Appalacian Trail and continue gaining elevation for 3.2 miles. We'll then intersect the Turk Branch Trail at the 6.9 mile mark and descend on it for 2.5 miles. We then intersect the South Fork Moorman's Trail again and continue descending 1.8 miles back to the parking area.
