Easy Mystery Walk

Mystery walk? ooOoooOooo spoooky! Well, if you consider simply not knowing what road/trail conditions will be like to be spooky (which I do) then that descriptor is apt, but really it's just a mystery walk since we'll be possibly running into literally having to change paths as ice blocks are shriveled/gone in some places and still hangin' around in others. I will attempt to get out tomorrow to check conditions in the area ahead of time to keep us on a regular time schedule, so it should be less of a mystery to me, which should be comforting for you, my dear hikers.

We'll meet up in Stonefield (check where to meet for exact location and GPS coordinates) next to the snowy/slush field across from the theatre/Duck Donuts. This will be all paved to reduce the likelihood of traveling slush paths on standard trails, but keep in mind there could still be patches of ice and gross snow banks to crawl over, so please wear shoes with good traction.

Normally I do coffee after these hikes, but Grit is under renovation in Stonefield, so anyone who wants to join can meet at Torchy's Tacos afterwards. They have the best queso of anyone hands down. If anyone considers these to be fighting words, I'll go down swinging. (Seriously, I promise the green chile queso is out of this world.) They also have a full bar for anyone who is interested in drinks.
