Biscuit Run Trails - 5 moderate miles

Let's hike at Albemarle County's newest and largest park. We will begin on the Foothills Loop Trail, then do an out and back to the Buck Family Homestead site and return to the Foothills Trail for 5 miles.

My friend Deb Lambert-Dean will lead us. I will be sweep as I continue to recover from a fractkured ankle.

We will meet at the parking area at 2020 Scottsville Rd, Charlottesville. There are good bathrooms and plenty of parking.

Notes:

• I am always bossy about water.
• Sunscreen and tick spray, please.
• Leashed dogs welcome.
• I don't hike in the rain and will cancel if the weather is nasty.
• I limit my woods and mountain hikes to 14 people; no guests.
