Annual Naturalization Ceremony
Details
Event Details - This has been an annual event that I have posted the past several years. Last year, we got to listen to the great historian and movie producer Ken Burns. There has been no announcement of the speaker or speakers for the Naturalization Ceremony this year. This is the 250th birthday for the country and 60th Naturalization Ceremony. The speaker or speakers for this year should be a big name or names. This event will sell out because of the significance this year. Hence I am posting it this far out so that people can get their free tickets now. The free tickets can be acquired at the link below.

I will be getting my ticket for 7:30 AM. You are not required to get the ticket for the same time as me. There are multiple times available. This event is also a logistically challenging event to post given the size of the event. I will post what I am wearing and where I am sitting throughout the day and event. There will be an optional post-ceremony get together at Carter Mountain to enjoy some socializing, some peach soft-serve ice cream, and the incredible views of Charlottesville from the Carter Mountain Apple Barn.
