Post Hike (Optional): We will tailgate in the parking lot. If you want to participate, bring a beverage, a chair and a snack to share at your discretion.

Hike Description: This loop contains no overlooks but traverses through a beautiful canyon with twists and turns as we trek alongside cascading waterfalls cut into the canyon for our steep climb to the top of the falls and then descend through a forest along a stream before passing a large cemetery toward the end of the hike.
We will park at the boundary parking at the end of Keyser Run Rd. We will start on the Little Devil Stairs Trail where we will ascend through the canyon, crossing the stream multiple times. We will cross Keyser Run Fire road and continue on Pole Link Bridge Trail to Piney Branch Trail where we will turn left and descend through the forest to a nice spot for a lunch break near the stream. After our break we will continue to Hull School Trail, turning left and climbing back to the intersection with Keyser Run Fire Road and the Bolen Cemetery. We will continue down the fire road, back to our cars.

Weather: If inclement weather necessitates canceling or postponing the hike, the decision will be made no later than 7:00AM - cancellations will be posted on the hike comments section. Steady rain with not much chance of clearing and/or dangerous conditions will call for postponing the hike.
RSVP: If you find that you are NOT going to be able to attend the hike, please update your RSVP to “No” as soon as possible. This allows those on the waitlist to have the opportunity to attend.
