Greenway Park around South River/Hikers Festival in Wynesboro.

South River Greenway Walk and Hiker Fest, the ultimate celebration of outdoor adventure in the heart of Waynesboro, VA!

The South River Greenway is an asphalt paved trail, shared-use path that runs 4 miles In and OUT along the South River, a Virginia Scenic River, from Loth Springs Trailhead (near the YMCA) to North Park.

This 14-acre park is bordered by the South River and the South River Greenway. . North Park offers picnicking, youth lighted baseball field, lighted basketball court, playground, wild life and river access (kayak/canoe ramp and fishing).

We will meet at the parking area at North park 800 Bridge Avenue, Waynesboro, VA June 6, 2026 at 9 AM.
