Boars Head to Round top+ 6ish moderate miles-1,000 feet of gain

Join Al and me for a hike along the Boar's Head Heritage Trail. Lucy, Callen and I scoped this hike last week. It offers views of Birdwood Golf Course, two ponds and then heads up to Round Top with some calorie burning elevation. We'll do this as a lollipop then a loop which will give us about 6 miles.
Notes:
- I don't hike in the rain.
- Leashed dogs are welcome.
- I am bossy about water so please bring some.
- Bug and tick spray, please
- I do not allow guests on the weekends.
- I limit my wooded trail hikes to 14.
Meet at the lake end of the parking lot at Wellington Drive, across from the Boar's Head Outdoor Pool. Introductions usually take about 5 minutes. See directions below.
DIRECTIONS: Turn in at the main entrance to the Boars Head resort from Rte. 250 (Ednam Drive). Go left on Boar’s Head Point Rd. which is just before the Inn. After a short distance, turn right just before Wellington Drive into the parking lot. Meet at the end of the parking lot closest to the lake.
