Perhaps, like me, you grew up in a house where roughing it meant staying at Howard Johnson ("That color scheme! Really!") Thus, you were never exposed to the joys of camping as a youth. I'm hear to tell you that you can overcome your sheltered upbringing and embrace the car camping lifestyle. Think car camping is all about sacrifice? At this in-store clinic we will separate truth from fiction when it comes to car camping, tell you about the comforts-of-home gear that's available (Latte from my Handpresso Wild Hybrid Outdoor Set, anyone?), fill you in on the basics, and tell you about some of the great campgrounds in North Carolina — and the adventures to be had nearby.
