This 9-week series is aimed at hikers with flexible schedules or who are retired. Every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., we will hike a different trail primarily in the North Raleigh/Wake Forest area searching for the emerging signs of spring. The hikes will be 2 to 4 miles in length, on a variety of terrain ranging from easy to moderate. There is a $50 fee for this series, $25 of which is refundable through a gift card from Great Outdoor Provision Co. The program includes a weekly enewsletter with hiking tips, resources, a recap of the previous week's hike and details on the next hike in the series, including tips (with photos) of what new signs of spring we might expect to see.
