#### About This Trip

Join us for a scenic paddle on the Platte River, launching from the Farley MDC boat ramp! This is a beautiful stretch of river winding through wooded bluffs and quiet bottomlands — perfect for wildlife spotting (herons, turtles, beavers, and more). We will paddle upstream for a few miles and then come back. This river may have a moderate flow after the rain, so expect to continuously paddle.
Estimated Distance: ~5–8 river miles (final route TBD based on conditions)
Estimated Float Time: 3–5 hours
Skill Level: Intermediate

#### What to Bring

• Kayak or canoe + paddle + PFD (life jacket — required)
• Dry bag for phone, keys, and valuables
• Water and snacks (no services on the river)
• Sunscreen & bug spray
• Change of clothes + shoes that can get wet

***This is a primitive ramp **— no restrooms, no amenities. Use facilities before you arrive.
