Grounds For Sculpture (http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/) exhibits works by sculptors in the museum buildings and landscaped sculpture park.
We'll meet in the visitor's center, then walk around the grounds for a few hours. (We'll not be taking a guided tour.)
I've never been to Grounds for Sculpture (http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/), but I've heard great things. Sounds like a fantastic place to bring your camera.
We'll be outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
If attendees are interested, we can find a nearby place to have lunch after this event.
COST: Admission for adults is $12. Rather than collecting money in advance, members can each pay for their own admission at the ticket booth when arriving. That will make it more convenient in case people RSVP late or have to drop out. We will also collect a $1 donation for Get Out Philadelphia.
IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER: If there's snow on the ground, we can still appreciate the art. I would just advise members to wear practical shoes, like boots. However, if there is a snow storm, and it would be unsafe to drive, this activity may be canceled. Please check your e-mail for the latest information.
