Trails and tunes @Bolton Valley

Details
Let’s get out and celebrate the longest day of the year with a hike!
We’ll meet by the Vista lift and take the Vista work road to Bolton Firetower. The hike up is a pretty steady incline but we’ll go at an easy pace that is comfortable to the group. The fire tower is accessible by wooden ladders and it can get slippery when wet; If you’re afraid of heights, I would suggest skipping this last part. We’ll return the same way we went. Since the trails are multi-use, dogs are not allowed on them.
~3 miles out and back. Here’s the trail map- Vista Peak via Vista Work Road on AllTrails

Post hike, we can hang out in the lawn and enjoy some live music. I called Bolton and they said they have an outdoor bar set up during the event and may have a hot dog stand if the weather is nice. There is a bar/restaurant in the base lodge (James Moore Tavern) that has a full bar and food menu; you can order food and bring it out on to the lawn.
Hope to see you there!
Just a heads up, I’m keeping this event limited to 15 people. If you’re not quite sure you can make it, please consider holding off on RSVP’ing so someone else has a chance to join. Thanks for understanding!
