Wintergreen Gorge Dayhike (easy) Cooper Rd Trailhead

Wintergreen Gorge is another locally popular day hike. Easily accessible at the Cooper Rd. parking area and trailhead. The hike should be approximately 3 miles out and back total. Then it's off to Erie Brewing and John's Wildwood Pizza post hike. As always, dress for the weather with good hiking boots or trail runners and a good windproof jacket and a layer or two just in case. And don't forget to bring some water.

Trail difficulty > Very Easy, Minimal roots and rocks
Mileage < Under 5 miles (leisurely pace)
Terrain is mostly flat and easy going with a couple of smaller hills.
