Morrison Trail - Allegheny National Forest Hike

Morrison - Rimrock hike in the Allegheny National Forest. Moderately challenging, but not overly difficult. Rumor has it the mountain laurel should be in bloom and is quite a sight to see in this area. Hopefully we get the timing right. There are lots of options for routes here since it is a multi-loop trail. The group can decide that once we arrive at the trailhead on Rt 59 in McKean County.

Aside from the mountain laurel, there are rock gardens, and of course Kinzua Reservoir to check out.

This can be either a day hike or a backpacking trip with an overnight campout (always fun!) We'll see who signs up and what everybody wants to do. Oh, and there may be a good barbeque place nearby for post hike refueling.
