Walk the Nelson Trail followed by lunch at the Clarence Pier Pub

Meeting by the Harbour train station, then a short walk to the start of the Nelson Trail which ends by the Hovercraft, then back to the Clarence Pier pub for a lunch and/or coffee, returning through old Portsmouth and Gunwharf to the station.

I will book lunch for 12.00 pm at the Clarence Pier. This is not a dog friendly venue.

The walk one way takes between 30-40 minutes, with a bit added on to look at the points of interest and is approximately 1.5 miles, so not a massive trek and back through Gunwharf.

I will be using the Park and Ride (£4 for up to 5 people) and if several of us meet there, we can travel in and back on one ticket. Obviously, also very handy for the train and busses and there is parking nearby both multi-storey and ground level.
