Hollybank Woods to Stansted Walk (approx 4.5 miles)

Please join me on a Saturday morning walk through Hollybank Woods to Stansted, where we can stop for a coffee before the homeward stretch.

Most of the route is good underfoot. Walking from the start of Hollybank Woods we'll take the woodland path up towards Stansted, diverting through a farm and eventually joining the Green Mile that looks down onto Stansted House. We'll carry on up to the House, stop for a coffee, then walk directly back through Hollybank Woods to the starting point.

This walk will be undertaken at a moderate to brisk pace. Four-legged friends are very welcome to join us too. There are no stiles on route, only a couple of kissing gates, which can be avoided if necessary.

There is plenty of free parking in Hollybank Lane. The meeting point is at the very end of the road as it swings around to the left and into Long Copse Lane. The footpath starts on this bend.
