6 mile circular walk to Old Winchester Hill

Join me for a 6 mile moderately paced circular walk starting at the old railway station in West Meon and walking up the road until we reach the top of Old Winchester Hill. We will then walk along footpaths rounding the hilltop before heading back down to the Meon Valley and then return to West Meon along the old railway trail. Lovely views from the hilltop and along the route

As this walk does involve a reasonable ascent, albeit not particularly challenging, please consider this when booking. Wear suitable footwear and clothing according to the weather conditions on the day.

On our returned we can visit the local cafe or pub in the village for refreshments.

Meet at 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Plenty of free car parking at the start point.
