9 mile circular walk from East Meon to Butser Hill

Join me for a 9 mile circular walk from East Meon up to the South Downs Way which we follow to the top of Butser Hill. Here we can stop for lunch so please bring this with you as I’m not sure if the cafe there will be open. We descend from Butser towards Ramsdean before returning via Frogmore to East Meon.

This will be a moderately paced walk with some significant ascents and descents and is lengthier than most and I expect it to take at least 4 hours to complete. We will walk mainly on footpaths with stiles and along some rural roads.

Please ensure you wear suitable footwear and clothing relative to the weather conditions on the day and bring food and drink with you.

Car parking is free in East Meon. Please arrive early to ensure a prompt 10am start.

Please do not park at the village hall but in the large public car park just after it.
