Hamble River Circular

Join me for a delightful walk along both sides of the River Hamble starting at the station car park (free) and following footpaths though wooded areas and countryside to Hamble village where we can catch the pink ferry to the eastern side of the river where we can have a coffee break. We will then continue on the coastal path passing through Universal Marina then on to Swanwick marina returning to the station car park . Here we have the option of going to the iconic Jolly Sailor for a drink and something to eat.Hopefully the weather will be kind to us . The walk is just under 6 miles and apart from a couple of small climbs at the beginning is mainly flat.
This will be a moderate to brisk walk and could be muddy in places so please wear appropriate footwear.
Please note I am not a walk leader and this walk will be a group of friends walking together; each of us taking responsibility for our own safety and wellbeing.
