Warsash Circular ( 5 miles )

Free parking is available adjacent to the church.

Starting at St Mary's Church in Warsash, we will follow the waymarked path toward the Hook-with-Warsash Nature Reserve, passing through a nature trail with a stream before emerging onto the beach. We will walk along the shingle beach path with views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. We will cut back into a woodland trail so we’re not walking the beach shingle for too long. Small amount of road walking before cutting across strawberry fields onto the Mermaid for our coffee stop.

What to expect

A mix of scenery: The walk features a mix of coastal and woodland scenery.

Wildlife: You may see various birds in the nature reserve, and if you are lucky, you might spot some other wildlife.

Views: Enjoy views of the Solent, Southampton Water, and the Isle of Wight.

Beach terrain: The beach is a shingle beach, so waterproof footwear is recommended, especially in winter after rain.

Coffee stop: will be the Mermaid.
