Walk This Wey (approx 6 miles)

Please join me on a day out walking part of the Wey Navigation route between Godalming and Guildford. THIS IS A LINEAR WALK.

Our walk starts from outside Godalming Rail Station at 11.00 am and takes us into the centre of Guildford. On arrival at Guildford we'll stop for lunch at Megan's By The Castle, a Turkish/English cafe.

Our return will be from Guildford Rail Station, so if you're travelling by train be sure to check what ticket(s) you're buying.

The walk is flat and takes us along the side of the Wey Navigation right into Guildford, so hardly any map reading is needed. There are no facilities along the route so it's advisable you bring your own snacks and a drink as we'll stop somewhere midway along the path for a quick break.

Places are limited due to only being able to book a limited number for the cafe.

Out of courtesy to the host and the venue, please give at least 48 hours notice if you decide not to attend (emergencies being the exception). This also ensures those on the waitlist have sufficient notice to be able to take your place.
