Hayling cruise! A walk from Cumberland car park to Hayling Island via the ferry

Join me for a circular walk with the added benefit of two trips on the Hayling Island ferry!
Meet in Fort Cumberland car park (watch out for the pot holes) for a prompt 10.15am start.
We will walk down Ferry Road to catch the 10.40am ferry. Do a circular walk around South Hayling with a coffee stop at John’s cafe along the way, and aim for the 14.05 return ferry.
The ferry costs £3.50 each way (please bring cash as I am not sure if they take card payments).
This walk may not suit anyone who struggles with walking on pebbles/shingle as the beach part does have areas where crossing pebbles/shingle is unavoidable.
Please note that I am not a walk leader and this walk will be a group of friends walking together; each of us taking responsibility for our own safety and wellbeing.
Please ensure you wear appappropriate clothing and footwear and carry your own first aid essentials.
