What we’re about
This group is for anyone in the Gettysburg area who is interested in starting and running a successful business, particularly a business that will be based in Gettysburg. Each meeting will have a particular focus topic: Marketing. Branding. Risk management. Recruiting. Etc.
This is not a networking group. This is not a place to give out business cards and try to push your products and services on other people. It's an educational workshop. It's a place to learn about core aspects of business, to work through issues and obstacles confronting your own business, and get constructive feedback from at least one successful entrepreneur and hopefully several intelligent people.
The group is lead and facilitated by Jonathan Pollard. Pollard earned his B.A. from Cornell University and his J.D. from Georgetown. He owns a multi-million dollar law and consulting firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but grew up just outside of Gettysburg. Pollard has extensive experience litigating complex antitrust, non-compete and trade secret cases. He has appeared in or on the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, the Guardian, Bloomberg, PBS News Hour and more.
