Update: Registration is currently too low to hold the event. If you plan on registering please do so ASAP. If we do not reach at least 20 paid registrants by next Thursday (Aug 10th) we will have to cancel. If you know someone who plans on registering or should be going to this event don't hesitate to reach out to them.

If the event moves forward we will be running an attendee giveaway for a new Corsair K65 LUX RGB Compact Keyboard with Cherry MX Switches courtesy of Masood (atrophy).

Come join us for some competition and camaraderie. We will be holding a balanced CSGO tournament as well as gatherings for Rocket League and Dota2. Early bird registration ends July 29th.

CSGO - 40 player draft tournament

• we will make balanced teams for an all day tournament

Rocket League - gathering and matches

• meet others and play through the day
• can run some casual tournaments if enough players/interest

Dota2 - gathering and matches

• meet others and play through the day
• can do 1v1 or other tournaments if enough players/interest

Registration
$25 - Regular Fee... venue fee plus pizza and prizes/giveaways
$20 - Early Bird... through July 28th
$30 - Late Reg... beginning on Aug 9th

• spectators free, rsvp appreciated but no registration necessary
• if payment is not successful during registration you can try again through the payment/donation form in the info above
• registration entries without payment or other arrangements will be deleted within 24 hours. This avoids no shows that cause problems for tournaments and take up limit spots

Schedule
8 AM - volunteer setup
11 AM - doors open, setup your computer, hang out
12 PM - activities start
5 PM - break for dinner
9 PM - completion, volunteer cleanup

Bring Your Own Computer

• tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, ethernet cable, etc
• or just laptop :-)

Food
Pizza and drinks are part of entry fee, and will be provided around 5 or 6pm. If you have any special dietary needs, please mention them in comments during registration. Snacks also available for purchase throughout the day... soda, granola bars, candy, chips, energy drinks, water, etc.

Location
Drafthouse Comedy (http://drafthousecomedy.com/) is in downtown DC just a few blocks from McPherson Square Metro. There are multiple parking garages in the surrounding blocks that have all day parking for $15. There are also many free parking spots on Sundays within a block or two of the venue. Attendees are welcome to drop off their computers at front door before parking.

General Rules for Venue and Event

• All ages welcome, under 13 must have guardian present throughout the day. MeetUp says you must be 18 to join but you don't have to RSVP here to attend. Just be sure to register.
• No alcoholic beverages
• No excessive yelling... aka the Jasper rule ;p
• No yelling curse words
