Introductory Meeting of Gig Harbor Young Adult Political Group (18-35)

Details
In this first meet-up, we'll be focused on introducing ourselves and getting to know each other. Then, after we're all introduced, we'll begin to talk about our political aspirations and beliefs. Even if you have no desire to serve in a political office, it's still important to be engaged and that's a big part of this.
RULES:
-
Be respectful and have fun. Political discourse can be tense, but we should all have the self-control to step back from a conversation if we need to. We should always strive to make this a welcoming space for everyone, and open and respectful dialogue is a cornerstone of that.
-
If someone needs time to think, do not egg them on.
-
No xenophobia, homophobia, racism, or ableism of any kind are permitted. We're not bigoted, and we don't want bigots in our circle.
-
Consent to discuss politics can be revoked by any member at any time. If you revoke consent, you do not have to engage and can leave at any point.
