Description

The first session is held by three Data Engineers from the Ingestion team within JET. About a year ago, in order to consolidate data management across the company’s businesses, it was decided to migrate the data platform from AWS to GCP. One of the products that had to be migrated was database replication, which is one of the primary raw data sources in our platform. An exciting challenge as JET replicates about 50 databases of different types (MySql, PostgreSQL, SQL server).

The second session is about the Matrix Profile, held by a Software Engineer from StarTree. The Matrix Profile is a time-series analysis primitive that has gained significant attention lately. The Matrix Profile can be used for many time-series data mining tasks, including motif discovery, anomaly detection, classification, similarity search, clustering, and many others. It is versatile, simple, scalable, and extremely fast. In this talk, you will learn:
