Mike Kraus will kick off the first talk, in which we’ll explore how Mollie has streamlined the complex process of deploying ML models into production using MLOps. Discover how they built a cloud-based ML platform with tools like Google’s Vertex AI, Terraform, Spark, and Datadog. Learn about their journey, best practices, and lessons learned in supporting both batch and real-time inference, from initial idea to production deployment.

In the second talk, Jasper Bakker and Eduardo Lourenço will delve into the importance of recommendation systems in a multi-sided marketplace. They will explain how these systems help online delivery companies reduce customer friction while considering partners, delivery drivers, and business needs. They will also explore the intricate components, engineering trade-offs, and future directions of JET’s recommendation system.
