Machine Learning in Today's World: Data Encryption and Decryption using Python

Join us to learn about data science and machine learning at our informal, social study group! We're here to meet new people, collaborate on projects, and share knowledge. Anyone with an interest in machine learning is welcome! Aside from networking and informal knowledge-sharing, we will also do some small Python projects together.

Topic of the day: During this meetup, we will focus on encryption and decryption using Python.

Can machines be taught to detect diseases better than a doctor? Can machine learning help improve the quality of weather forecasting? Can we teach machines to understand our words? Can we train an algorithm to determine our sentiment of a product or video? These are only a few questions that machine learning and deep learning algorithms are beginning to answer. And the answer to all these questions is: ABSOLUTELY!

If you are interested in digging into the algorithms behind today's biggest challenges across many disciplines, then this is the place for you!

What to bring:

• (Optional) Your laptop! If you don't have one, you can always pair program with someone.

• (Optional) Pen and paper is always helpful too.

• Anyone else you know is interested in Machine Learning

• Your questions, ideas, and enthusiasm for learning and teaching!
