PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE!

Girl Geek Dinners Philadelphia is excited to announce her third Town Hall meeting!

We can't believe it's been 3 years already! 2013 was an exciting year. We'll recap what we've done and talk about where we want to go in 2014! Nicole and Karissa will have a few topics of discussion but want to hear your ideas for the future as well! (If you're unable to make the event, you can tell us your ideas/suggestions/topics for discussion by emailing us at info@ggdphl.com.)

After the discussion, we'll have our potluck! Feel free to bring leftovers and beverages or anything else to share and join us for some super casual networking. Nicole will be bringing the plates, cups, and plasticware, so don't worry about any of that stuff! Leave a message in the comments if you have requests, and also please let us know what you plan to bring (so we don't have 20 plates of chocolate chip cookies - though that sounds amazing)!

The Town Hall portion of the event will be for ladies only.
Our gentlemen friends can join us for the pot luck (estimating around 7:30 PM).

NOTE 1: In case it isn't clear, there will be NO OFFICIAL DINNER served at this event. It is an informal meeting. Any food or drinks will take place as part of the potluck after the town hall.

NOTE 2: We're estimating that only about 15-20 folks will be able to fit into the conference room for the town hall meeting so seating will be a first come, first served situation.

For the potluck, we can take as many folks as will fit in the kitchen area / south side of Indy Hall!

When

Tuesday, January 28th
6:30-7:30 :: Town Hall meeting (will go as long as we need/want)
~7:30-9:30 (or later!) :: Potluck

How much

GGD is run by Nicole and Karissa, who use membership fees for several things, including keeping this Meetup running! We're currently paying out of pocket, but it would be really great to pay for the Meetup with membership dues. As a result, we're making this event a mandatory $5 to cover those fees. If you have already paid your yearly dues, let us know, and we'll waive the fee for you! If you would like to take pictures and/or write up the event, we can waive the fee for you as well! Just let us know. There are no refunds. The money will apply directly to your yearly fee, so once you pay it, you're good to go for a year.

Getting In
Indy Hall is behind a key-pad entrance. We will post instructions on how to get in at the keypad. (Don't worry, it's very easy!)

Indy Hall is easily accessible via car and public transportation.

via car: There is a lot of on-street, metered parking. If you are looking for a garage or lot, visit http://philapark.org/locator/ to check out what is nearby.

via public transportation: IndyHall is a short walking distance from a couple of Market-Frankford Line (MFL) stops. If coming from outside the city, take any train to 30th, 15th/Suburban/Market East stop and hop on the MFL heading East (towards the Frankford Transportation Center). The MFL stops at 5th & Market and 2nd & Market. If coming in via PATCO, get off at the 8th & Market stop. You can either walk down to 3rd and Market or hop on the MFL a couple of stops.

Visit http://septa.org/maps/system/index.html for an interactive map if you need more assistance.
