No prior volunteering experience is needed—just come with an open heart and a willingness to spend time with the youths 🤍

By Public Transport + Grab:
• Nearest LRT Station: Taman Bahagia (Kelana Jaya Line) + short Grab ride (~10–15 mins) 🚕
• From KL Sentral: ~20–25 mins by Grab 🚗

Parking availability: Limited street parking available nearby—please arrive a little earlier to secure a spot 🅿️

Itinerary for the day :
Volunteer Event Itinerary
Participants: ~22 children, ~10 volunteers
Format: 4–5 small groups
Each group: ~4–6 children + 2-3 volunteers

1:00 – 1:10 | Arrival + Grouping
• Quickly divide into 4–5 mixed groups
• Assign volunteers per group as facilitators

1:10 – 1:30 | Icebreaker (Within Groups)
Introductions & Activity: “2 Truths, 1 Lie”
• Each child shares 3 simple statements
• Group guesses the “lie”

1:30 – 2:30 |
• Kids draw, color & write a short sentence/paragraph
• Theme (choose one/two):
“What Makes Me Happy: Can be people, places, hobbies, or moments
“My Future Self”: “In the future, I want to… I chose this because…”
“My Dream Day”: Describe a perfect day from morning to night
“My Favorite Place”: Real or imaginary
“A Better World”: Simple idea of kindness, helping others, or nature

2:30 – 2:45 | Small Group Sharing + Mini Discussion/Games
(Only if time allows—flexible block)
Within groups:
• Each child briefly shares their drawing
• Volunteers guide light discussion:
o Why did you choose this?
o What/who inspires you?
o How does it make you feel?
o What would help you achieve this goal?
• Group game idea – Play charades

2:45 – 3:00 | Wrap-Up + Group Photos
• Gather everyone for:
o Whole group photo
• Display artwork briefly (mini “gallery moment”)
