UH West Community Garden Work Day

Girl Scouts of Hawaii is partnering with University of Hawai'i West O'ahu Campus to provide a volunteer workday opportunity in the community garden!

Location: UH West O'ahu Campus at Community Garden (Campus Map attached)
Required to RSVP: Email Tasia Yamamura at tasiay@hawaii.edu and send your waiver (attached to this notice)
Participants will meet in Hale Kuahuokalā at the garden (māla), located on campus adjacent to the Classroom (D) and Laboratory (E) buildings.
Event organizers invite volunteers to join in for a day of fun and sun, mālama ‘āina together, a discussion on purpose and belonging and to strengthen pilina with each other!
Participants should bring reusable water bottles, use sun protection, and wear closed-toe shoes. Please email tasiay@hawaii.edu to RSVP your spot, submit the waiver or for more information!
This event is open to members and non-members. If you have a girl or volunteer interested in seeing what Girl Scouts all is about, invite them to attend this event as there will be council representation to answer questions if they are interested in joining.
