Our First Read: "The Queen's Gambit" by Walter Tevis

Sound familiar? You may have already seen the Netflix series released a few years ago. Whether you've watched the series, read the book, or are brand new to both, you're in for a treat. And, if you don't finish the book in time, feel free to binge the last few episodes to find out what happens!

Here's what you can expect:

• Friendly and Unpretentious: This isn't a high school English class. It's all about the love of reading without the high-brow pressure. Whether you're a seasoned bookworm or looking for motivation to get back into reading, you are very welcome!
• Engaging, No-Pressure Discussions: Didn’t finish the book? No stress! While I'll have a few questions to kickstart our chat, we're all about the organic flow of conversation. Even if you didn't make it to the end of the book, the themes we discuss will still make for a fun evening.
• Shared Book Selection: As our group grows, I'm hoping we can share the book selection privilege around!

Katuk has an impressive cocktail menu, as well as non-alcoholic options, and bar nibbles if you fancy a snack!
